January 22, 2012: Welcome to 2012! We hope you have all had a brilliant Christmas and New Years. A reminder that the location and date of our monthly meeting has changed. We are now located at: Adelaide South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street, Adelaide. The date has also changed to the first Tuesday of each month. The first meeting of the year is the AGM on February 7. See you there!

October 27, 2011: The BSSA is holding a raffle of a pair of birds from the stud of Stephen Elliot. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at our monthly meetings, or at the Nest Feather Show this weekend.

June 11, 2011: Only a small update! The Ron Norman auction list is now up, under the 'Downloadable Forms' tab over to the side. Congratulations to Stephen Elliot who won Grand Champion at the Logan Shield and to Adam Mcmahon to won Champion Novice. One other shout out to Sue Adams for winning our 'Hens' night at last month's meeting!

A reminder there is no monthly meeting for June! See you all in July!

May 15, 2011: First off, before we begin, I would like to promote the BSSA Hens Night 2011 coming up at this month's meeting. It is an opportunity for the female members of our fancy to bring birds in to be shown (however they must be hens!). Check out the flier. Email us with any queries or ask them on facebook! Our facebook profile and page. Feel free to follow us at the same time!

On to the show results! The page is still under construction and the two latest shows are on the way. At the 2011 Stan Watson, Stephen Elliot took out Grand Champion with a Grey Grey Cock and Adam McMahon won Champion Novice, also with a Grey Green Cock. At the Interclub, SCBS and BSSA battled out the night, with BSSA taking home the winning trophy. Thankyou to participants for entering the past two shows, and for the time and effort put in behind the scenes by the various members of the BSSA Committee.

Last and final update for today: The site shall be receiving some new colours soon. Keep an eye out!

March 16, 2011: Hello members of the BSSA and fellow budgerigar fanciers! We have just had a major update of the BSSA website! (if that was not already apparent or this is your first time).

As a quick guide, there are the pages to the left of the screen and the content of that page is on the right.
