Aloe Vera the Miracle Cure
Aloe Vera is a miracle cure for most diseases in birds; it helps digestive disorders caused by birds consuming infected food. It is a wormer and a laxative. It is excellent on cuts and sores, and will stop the bleeding of cuts. It acts as an antiseptic. It can be used as a spray, and acts as a conditioner. It stops bacteria and fungal growth. It will give your birds greater stamina. It helps prevent Egg binding. It will help control many other diseases.

The active ingredients of Aloe Vera are Alion, Baralon, Nataloin, Chlorophyll, Emodin, Resins, Albumin, Essential Oils, Gum Arabic, Silica, Phosphate, Lime and Iron. It also contains the following vitamins - Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin B12.

The minerals it contains are: Calcium, Chloride, Chromium, Copper, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium and Zinc.

There are also 17 amino acids and 5 enzymesThe enzymes are most beneficial to the birds’ whole system, and will activate the functioning of any sluggish parts. This means an improvement in health and well being, and a noticeable difference can be observed after 48 hours.

To use Aloe Vera, make a gel juice by using the following method:
  1. Fill a 1 litre glass jar with rainwater or filtered water and place a 115-gram piece of Aloe Vera leaf in it.  If using as a wormer or laxative, leave the thick skin on, or otherwise trim it off. (Remember; water to be put in jar before leaf.)
  2. Place jar in refrigerator for 24 hrs. The leaf will float at first, and when the solution is ready for use the leaf will sink to the bottom of the jar.
  3. Dilute this solution 50/50 with more pure water, and give it to your birds daily.  The original solution can be topped up, as the Aloe Vera leaf will be effective for 14 days.

Remember you cannot overdose your birds using this.

Important Points
1. Do not stir or shake the jar. (As the enzymes are very sensitive)
2. Keep refrigerated as enzymes killed by heat.
3. Change water in drinkers daily.
4. Solution can, be sprayed on the birds for external Parasites.
5. For cuts and sores use the gel that oozes from the leaves.
